Human Resources Assistant-Mankato

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join the AEM Workforce Solutions group in the Mankato office. Under general supervision, will provide key administrative support to our team of internal HR and payroll specialists enabling the firm to deliver exceptional client service. Key responsibilities may also include:

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide general administrative support to AEM Workforce Solutions staff to fulfill the day to day operating needs of the team and its clients.

• Answer office phone and address client needs, if possible, or direct calls to correct team member.

• Assist with meeting and interview scheduling as requested by clients or internal management.

• Assist with client human resources and payroll administration using a variety of software programs, as needed.

• Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other administrative functions as requested.

• Scans and files documents into appropriate employee files.

• Assists with internal and external correspondence as requested.

This position requires an administrative professional to manage multiple relationships both internally across the firm and externally with clients, and an ability to understand, anticipate, and adapt to our staff needs. An advanced proficiency level of administrative skills including communication and computing is required. A successful Administrative Assistant will take pride in the support that he/she provides to the firm and understands that his/her success is based on the success of others.

Qualifications include:

• 2+ years of administrative experience and/or previous experience in Human Resources is highly desirable• Customer-service oriented, shown by the following attributes: proactive, communicative, observant, knowledgeable, reliable• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office.

• High level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills

• Superior written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to learn new computer programs or experience using programs

• Experience handling sensitive, confidential information.
