Mr. Kalal joined the Firm in 1995. Prior to 1995, he practiced as a CPA in St. Paul, MN after graduating
Cum Laude from Minnesota State University Mankato in 1993 and receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in both
Accounting and Management. He is registered and licensed to practice as a CPA in Minnesota. Kevin oversees
Edina’s corporate tax division and works with business and personal clients out of the Edina and Apple
Valley offices. Mr. Kalal also has the following qualifications:
Received a Master in Business Taxation (MBT) from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business
16 years of experience working with businesses and individuals in the areas of tax planning, tax preparation, accounting and auditing
Assist businesses in developing strategies to improve their operations
Extensive experience working with personal service organization, real estate, manufacturing and construction clients
Member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA)
Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
Presents seminars to business and personal clients on tax planning strategies
Board Treasurer for the Laboure Society
Coach of local youth sports teams and volunteer for various other organizations
